Molly
Molly left CNR in July 2017 and attended Albany Academy until July 2021. She firmly believes that it is the High Performance Learning skills and behaviours that she developed both at primary school and then secondary school that has helped her to become a successful college student and she is well on her way to becoming a paramedic in the future.
What is your favourite thing about CNR?
My favourite thing about my education at CNR and then at Albany is how you do so many different subjects. In Year 11 my favourite subject was food technology as I liked the practical side.
Do you have an ambition for the future or an idea of what you would like to do in the future?
In the future I would like to work as a paramedic. In September 2023 I hope to go to university to study paramedic science.
How do you think the school helps you to be able to realise your ambitions?
school helped me to realise my ambitions because I was able to study a variety of subjects which enabled me to discover where my passion lay. This then went on to help me to choose the my career.
What do you think you have become better at by attending CNR and Albany?
My confidence has really improved. Throughout my time at school I was always given opportunities to speak and to voice my opinions- this helped me to gain confidence. I now use this confidence when I work part time at Tesco- especially when I am on the till!
What would you say to someone thinking of coming to CNR or Albany Academy?
I would tell them to have fun, work hard and make the most of it!

What is your favourite thing about CNR?
My favourite thing about CNR is that we are one big family- the CNR family. This includes my classmates, my teachers, the governors and our parents.
Do you have an ambition for the future or an idea of what you would like to do in the future?
My ambition for the future is to travel the world and work as a designer in many different countries.
How do you think the school helps you to be able to realise your ambitions?
CNR have supported this ambition by ensuring the Art and DT curriculum is ambitious and varied, enabling me to learn about many different techniques, skills and designers throughout the years. I have also learnt about managing money during PHSCE lessons. In Geography we have learnt about many countries such as Mexico. The teachers inspire and encourage me to follow my dreams.

I think that my confidence has improved and I am more resilient.
